'Thomas Paul Murphy Potato Soup Recipe 05 28 2017

Roughly peel 4 potatoes and cut them up into about 2” by 1” parts.
Peel four onions. Cut them in 1/2” cross sections and then cut the cross sections in half.
Place in stove pot and add water to about 1” above their level.
Peel the skin off of two carrots and then peel the carrots directly into the pot of soup you put on the stove. When you can't peel anymore cut those pieces smaller with a knife and throw them in the pot.
Two sliced cloves of garlic and one pressed clove of garlic.

Spices Roughly.

1 teaspoon of whole colander.
½ teaspoon of Fenugreek
5/8 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
A couple tablespoons of dried Parsley leaf.
1 teaspoon of Powdered Celery Seed.
Add salt gradually to taste by the pinch.

Heat it on the stove top. Then use a potato masher to mash the potatoes and the rest of the stuff in it to a smoother consistency.

In terms of potatoes, Carrots and Onions I often throw in as much as what I have to use up quickly.
